From “How We Became Yellow,” an installation of archival photographs repeated on a large scale to reveal patterns and reversals in power. Images are from a 19th Century photographic series of a human zoo labeled “Filipinos at Dreamland, Coney Island.”
This is part of a greater work I am exploring with archival material from that era.
